Free Crisis Training
FREE MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING: With the rise in levels of depression and anxiety and increased substance use reported among individuals due to isolation mandates and fear surrounding the current pandemic, now more than ever professionals need to be equipped to confidently identify and address crisis situations.
Care Coordination Manager, Amy Wunderlich and Director of Operations, Rachael Fields will be hosting a Crisis Training January 14th from 9am-4pm via Zoom. The training will address youth-focused crisis from 9am-12pm and adult-focused crisis from 1pm-4pm.
Learn to identify and address crisis situations. Learn more about ComWell’s crisis program, how it works, how it can be useful to you, when it is needed and the aftercare options.
We will also review ComWell’s Screening, Assessment, and Support Services (SASS) and Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services (CCBYS).
ComWell defines a crisis as someone experiencing hopelessness, dangerous psychosis, delusions, thoughts of self-harm or thoughts of causing harm to others. ComWell’s crisis services are not intended to replace long-term counseling or individual therapy.
We encourage you to forward this FREE training to others who may be interested in learning more about crisis and crisis services.
This training would be great for nurses, law enforcement, school personnel, EMT’s, church leaders and other community officials.
To register, email Rachael (rfields@comwell.us) to receive access to the Zoom event.
