Bauer began her career in March of 1990 at ComWell, at the time Human Service Center, where she was given a temporary position with the task of data entry transferring policy manual material into a word processor. It didn’t take long though for management to realize her capabilities and offered her the full time position of Administrative Technician just three months later.
This reorganization ensures leaders are able to more deeply focus on growth and development, as well as training and supervision among the various programs offered by the agency.
ComWell has achieved national accreditation through the Illinois Council on Accreditation (COA). ComWell is a local non-profit provider of behavioral health, substance use and developmental disability services in Southern Illinois.
