ComWell is a mission-driven behavioral health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families through compassionate care, evidence-based practices, and community engagement. We provide comprehensive mental health, substance use, and intellectual disabilities services that promote wellness, recovery, and resilience.
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of the organization. The Executive Director ensures the delivery of high-quality services, maintains financial stability, fosters community partnerships, and advances the mission of the agency in accordance with the policies set by the Board of Directors.
- Provide visionary leadership and develop strategies that align with the agency’s mission and goals
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to set organizational priorities, policies, and long-term plans
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and collaborative organizational culture
- Oversee day-to-day operations,
ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation requirements - Develop strategies for revenue growth, fundraising, and resource development
- Serve as the primary spokesperson and advocate for the agency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, funders, and governmental agencies
- Promote the agency’s programs and services through outreach and public relations
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in behavioral health, social work, psychology, public health, finance, nonprofit management or a related field required.
- Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health or a related human services field.
- Proven experience managing budgets, staff, and programs in a nonprofit or healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of behavioral health systems, regulations, and best practices
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and advocate for new and existing services
Job Type & Schedule : Full-Time; 40 hours per week.
Pay : $88,000/annually, commensurate with experience
