Position Overview:
In alignment with ComWell’s Mission, Vision, and Values, the Residential Program Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of residential services for individuals with behavioral health and/or intellectual disabilities. This position leads the operation of multiple residential programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care that promotes independence, safety, and overall well-being.
The Residential Program Manager provides leadership through a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented approach while ensuring compliance with all licensing requirements, regulatory standards, and ComWell policies. This role plays a critical part in program development, staff supervision, and maintaining strong relationships with individuals served, their families, and community partners.
- Oversee operations of three residential locations (1 CILA in Sparta & 1 in Chester, and 1 Behavioral Health Residential in Sparta)
- Provide supervision, support, and scheduling for residential staff and team leads
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations, licensing requirements, and agency policies
- Support individuals in achieving independence and improved quality of life through person-centered services
- Coordinate care with internal teams, including nursing, psychiatric, and behavioral health staff
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical client records
- Manage client recruitment and admissions processes
- Monitor program budgets and ensure responsible fiscal management
- Foster relationships with clients, families, guardians, and external providers
- Provide direct support and shift coverage as needed
- Lead ongoing program development and quality improvement efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience in residential services, behavioral health, or program management
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively
- Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed care
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must meet requirements for CANTS check, criminal background check, and Health Care Worker Background Check
- $60,000–$65,000 annually, negotiable based on experience and education
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
