Position Overview:
In alignment with ComWell’s Mission, Vision, and Values, the Residential Team Lead works closely with the Residential Manager to support daily operations across multiple residential programs. This position provides hands-on leadership, staff supervision, and direct support to ensure high-quality, person-centered care for individuals with behavioral health and/or intellectual disabilities.
The Residential Team Lead plays a key role in promoting independence, improving health outcomes, and increasing community integration for individuals served, while maintaining a trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approach.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of three residential locations (two in Sparta and one in Chester)
- Supervise, train, and support residential staff, including onboarding and ongoing development
- Coordinate client schedules, including medical appointments, activities, and community outings.
- Assist with implementation and documentation of client-centered plans and outcomes
- Provide direct support with daily living activities, health needs, and skill development
- Monitor client health, behavior, and overall functioning; communicate changes as needed
- Manage client finances, including budgeting, checkbooks, and petty cash
- Ensure clients maintain benefits (Medicaid, LINK, and other income sources)
- Order, track, and maintain program supplies
- Serve as a liaison between clients, families, guardians, and community providers
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide shift coverage as needed
- Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- DSP certification required within 120 days of hire
- Previous experience in residential services, direct care, or team leadership preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- $22.50–$23.50 per hour, based on experience and education
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
